Description
This is the sequel of my absinthe fairy with many of you are now familiar with.
Absinthe Fairy was meant to signify the fun, cheekiness, debauchery, sexiness, mystery and fantasy
Absinthe Buzz is what happens when you've had too much, when it gets out of control, when it turns dark and sinister. I myself haven't had enough to experience the state, but I can imagine it feeling something like having a weird wasp in your brain.
The background is made of dried paint stripper left out side to dry for several weeks then being peeled out of it's tin and scanned.
The bug itself took a long time to complete with most of it drawn while in the waiting room to have my foot operated on. Each visit was about an hour or two waiting time, so approximately 4-6 hours drawing. Photoshop colouring only took about 4 hours this time, possibly less.
The original draw comprises of black green and red ink.
